Peru Study Applications are available online through My Cal Poly Portal. The application deadline for the Peru Summer Study Program is March 1, 2008 .

All students must:

• Apply to the Peru Summer Study program
• Complete all required forms
• Have a faculty member complete a reference form.
• Register for the 12 units with Cal Poly
• Have a valid passport by March 1st, 2008 that expires no earlier than January 2009.
• Pay all associated fees by designated deadlines

Eligibility
Students in all majors and at all class levels with a Cal Poly GPA at 2.5 or above are eligible to participate. Selection will be based upon GPA, application essay, personal interviews, and faculty reference. If space permits, non-Cal Poly Students are welcome to apply to the program if they meet the minimum gpa requirement at their home university and receive Program Director approval.

Financial Aid
Students participating in the Peru Study Program, may be eligible for financial aid through Cal Poly. However, students attending summer will have limited eligibility if they borrowed their maximum annual loan amount. The Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) may be a financial aid option.

Note: Eligibility for summer aid is determined after Spring grades are posted. Students are advised to budget wisely throughout the academic year and plan ahead for study abroad costs. Students are encouraged to speak with a Cal Poly Financial Aid Counselor for additional information.
